Allergan eyes $10M Waco ophthalmic production line

WACO – A $10.6 million, 22,000-sf expansion of the Allergan LLC Waco facility broke ground in Texas Central Park. The expansion project will include new manufacturing technology and increased production capacity to support a new product line.

State-of-the-art automation and control systems were developed by Allergan’s engineering team to support is ophthalmic pharmaceuticals production facility.

Allergan currently employs approximately 640 and expects the expansion to create 20 to 30 new jobs. The expansion project is expected to be complete in approximately one year.
