NORTH RICHLAND HILLS - Sealy Mattress Co. will lay off 114 workers beginning on April 7, 2014, as the company starts closing the plant at 655 Wuliger Way.
Sealy said the plant would be permanently shut down by May 31 with the last day of production expected to be on April 30.
While the North Richland Hills plant will cut jobs, the Brenham location is growing. The company will add $500,000 of equipment and add 104 jobs over the next three months, according to the Brenham Banner-Press.
