RICHARDSON - State Farm Insurance’s 1.5 million-sf office campus under construction is already the biggest office development under construction in North Texas. But apparently it’s still not big enough.

Developer KDC has announced the construction of a fourth, 500,000-sf office tower to its CityLine development at the northeast corner of State St. and Plano Rd.

Construction will begin this summer, with completion set for summer 2016. The first three buildings are currently under construction, with move-in beginning before the end of 2014.

The new 12-story office building will include a five-level parking garage and 30,000 sf of ground floor retail space.

When completed, the $1.5 billion CityLine development is expected to have about 6 million sf of office space, almost 4,000 apartments and more than 300,000 sf of shopping space.
