DFW No. 7 in U.S. for home sellers

DALLAS-FORT WORTH – The DFW region ranked seventh on ZipRealty’s Top Ten Best Cities for Home Sellers.

The study, which his based on housing market trends in 24 metro areas in the U.S., ranked the markets based on performance of median home sales, number of days houses stayed on the market and total housing inventory, according to research conducted by ZipRealty Inc.

The top three major metro areas are the San Francisco-Bay Area, Sacramento and San Diego, respectively. Houston ranked eighth in the nation.
