COLLEGE STATION – The home of the 12th Man will now call itself home to the biggest video board in college sports. The new video board, to be located atop the new south endzone, will measure 47-feet tall by 163-feet wide (7,661 sf).

The video board is expected to be completed by A&M’s first home game against Lamar in September 2014.

Construction is on schedule and Kyle Field will hold 106,511 people during the 2014 season, according to Texas A&M University System Chancellor John Sharp.

However, the capacity at Kyle Field will decrease to 102,500 in 2015 as the west side of the stadium in redeveloped to complete the project. The $450 million redevelopment of Kyle Field will make it the largest stadium in both The Southeastern Conference and Texas.
