USAA, Seefried: 2M-SF industrial parks in DFW/Desoto

DALLAS, DESOTO – USAA Real Estate Co. and Seefried Properties have begun on the first phase of a 2.3 million-sf master-planned industrial park.

The 157-acre development, called Southfield Park 35, is located within the International Inland Port of Dallas with close proximity to I-20, I-35, I-45 and the Union Pacific Intermodal facility.

The first of four buildings is currently under construction, and will constitute 1.1 million sf when it is completed near the end of third quarter 2014.

The other three buildings of various sizes ranging from 241,800 sf to 678,600 sf, with some expansion capabilities, are expected to begin at a later date.

Southfield Park 35 in Dallas and DeSoto is the largest speculative development underway in North Texas, according to real estate experts.
