LUBBOCK COUNTY - The top subdivisions for the number of permits issued within a city’s limits were once again located in the South & Southwest portions of Lubbock County in 2013, according to the 2013 TitleOne Digital Title Services report.

“The housing market is seeing a tremendous influx of permits because we’ve worked through a good portion of existing homes, and new construction kind of counteracts that supply and demand,” Brenda Hawkins of TitleOne said.

For the third consecutive year, Springfield, Quincy Park and Bacon Crest have been the top subdivisions as to the number of permits issued.

Wolfforth’s Preston Park once again was among the top 12 for permits issued indicating a continued interest in the Wolfforth area.
