Belk on-the-spot interviews for 200 at Galleria Dallas

DALLAS – Belk Inc. plans to hire nearly 200 employees for its new flagship store at the Galleria Dallas.

The retailer will host on-the-spot interviews at the Belk employment office on the second level of the Galleria from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Saturday during the first week of March. The retailer is hiring sales, support and specialist positions.

The Dallas store is Texas’ first flagship that will occupy Saks Fifth Avenue’s former space. The location will host its grand opening April 9.

The new location will feature three floors of apparel, accessories, shoes and cosmetics. The layout will differ greatly from that of Saks, as Belk gutted the shop to create more open spaces and its custom design.

Belk’s footprint includes stores in McKinney, Rockwall, Flower Mound and Fort Worth.
