HARKER HEIGHTS - More than $7.6 million in construction permits have been approved, headlined by a 41,000-sf Walmart Neighborhood Market that will be constructed at 960 E. FM 2410. The project is estimated to cost $5.5 million.
Another commercial permit was issued for a 7,200-sf dental clinic a 410 E. Central Expy., which is estimated to cost $500,000.
Residential building permits added $1.6 million in construction projects to the city. Harker Heights issued eight residential permits for the construction of homes valued at $135,000 to $259,000 each on Chaucer Ln., Vineyard Tr., Terra Cotta Court, Techny Dr. and Clore Rd.
