ROCKWALL - A California-based telecommunications supplier will move its headquarters and manufacturing operations into a new $20 million facility. Channell Commercial Corp. will develop a 175,000-sf building at the northwest corner of John King Blvd. and Justin Road Extended.

The move will initially create 200 jobs. The company plans to begin its operations by the end of the year.

The new facility will house the largest structural foam machine in Texas.

The fourth-generation company supplies thermoplastic enclosures and copper and fiber connectivity products to Dallas-based AT&T Inc., Verizon Communications, Comcast, Time Warner, Cox and Charter. Channell also supplies a number of international companies.
