AMARILLO – The local economy gained strength in February 2014 as retail sales and construction pushed higher, according to Amarillo National Bank.
School additions and security projects were $20 million of the $80 million building permits issued in February 2014. Fed Ex, located on East I-40, and apartments in West Amarillo also added to the gain.
