TYLER – A 19,097-sf Tractor Supply Co. store is under construction at 13641 Texas Hwy. 110 South. The estimated cost of construction is $850,000, according to state filings. The store will have between 12 and 17 full- and part-time employees.

Construction is expected to be finished in May 2014, with a soft opening to follow, according to Stephanie Winn, spokeswoman for Tractor Supply.

The store will include sales floor and support service space, and a fenced exterior space will be used for storage and displaying items such as fencing, sprayers and livestock equipment.

Tractor Supply is the largest retail farm and ranch supply store chain in the United States and operates more than 1,245 stores in 48 states, and the new store will be its 144th Texas location.
