DALLAS – Energy Transfer Equity LP is moving into 131,000 sf at the southeast of the corner of Dallas North Tollway and Northwest Hwy. in the Preston Center business district.

Energy Transfer will join Chief Oil & Gas as the primary tenants in a new office building being developed by real estate firm Bandera Ventures. The lease will essentially fill the remaining space in the 200,000-sf project, which is the biggest office building addition to Preston Center in seven years.

Energy Transfer and its related firms are currently based in a small office building it owns on Oak Lawn Ave., but decided to move all of their related entities under one roof. Because of its space needs, Energy Transfer did not find many options in the Oak Lawn area.

“We looked at some opportunities in Uptown, and just about every possibility that could accommodate their requirement,” said Cassidy Turley’s Dan Harris. “They figured where better than a central location like Preston Center.
