ARLINGTON – Kindred Healthcare, the Methodist Health System, and Texas Health Resources joint-venture rehabilitation hospital is open.
The $15.8 million, nearly 47,000-sf facility is located in the 900 block of West Arbrook Blvd. between Methodist Mansfield Medical Center and Texas Health Arlington Memorial.
The new hospital is slated bring 150 jobs to the region.
The 40-bed facility includes a dedicated stroke unit, gyms, rooms for bariatric patients, a special apartment that will retrain patients to perform daily tasks and private rooms with sleeper chairs for family members.
