Full house for Killeen-area permits
KILLEEN AREA – Home builders started 36 residences in Killeen, Harker Heights, Copperas Cove and Nolanville for the week of March 24. Total construction costs are estimated at about $5 million.
Killeen issued permits for 23 single-family dwellings and three multifamily dwellings, with a total estimated cost of about $3.2 million. The homes ranged from $89,000 to $207,000.
Aston Homes and DR Horton received the majority of the Killeen single-family home permits with homes being built on Cottonpatch Dr., Rusack Dr., Loma Gaile Ln., Mustang Creek Rd., Adeel Dr., Clear Brook Dr., Katy Creek Ln. and Parkmill Ln.
The city issued the multifamily permits to Yellow Lilly Inc. for residences on Loyal Ln.
Copperas Cove issued five construction permits to Manning Homes and Silverado Homes. The companies will build residences on Jonathan Ln., Horizon Dr. and Plains Dr.
The Cove projects will cost about $649,000 with homes ranging between $121,000 and $158,000.
Nolanville granted four construction permits for homes to Vale Building Group, Carothers Executive Homes and Eagle Ridge Builders.
The Nolanville residences will be built on Chimney Hill Dr., Bella Charca Pkwy. and Sweet Gum Court. Construction costs are estimated between $160,000 and $299,000 with a total cost of about $900,000.
Harker Heights issued one permit for a $256,000 home on Terra Cotta Court to DR Horton.
