CORPUS CHRISTI - In fourth quarter 2013, the retail market contained 22.382 million sf with a vacancy rate of 5.6 percent, according to Burbach & Associates and CoStar Group.

The rate was down from 6.1 percent in 2012 and 6.4 percent in 2011. The average net rental rate was $12.24 per sf, up 5.0 percent from $11.66 in 2012.
