Fort Worth LifeCare Hospital part of $40M duo sale

FORT WORTH – The LifeCare Hospitals of Fort Worth at 6201 Overton Ridge Blvd. has been sold.

Physicians Realty Trust has acquired the 52,709-sf Fort Worth facility, as well as another LifeCare hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. The properties were sold together for $40 million, or about $116 per sf.

The Fort Worth hospital is in the Cityview area near the Southwest Medical District of Fort Worth. The 80-bed facility employs more than 160 physicians.

LifeCare Holdings Inc. sold the assets, then signed a sale-leaseback deal with the new owners at both properties, combining it with a third leased property in Plano under a new master lease through January 2028.
