Sandlin slides into North Richland Hills with 200 homes
NORTH RICHLAND HILLS – Sandlin Homes is preparing to kick off a 58-acre project, bringing nearly 200 homes to the city. The tract has been dormant for more than 27 years and is one of the last parcels of land available in North Richland Hills, said Scott Sandlin, owner of Sandlin Homes.
The North Richland Hills-based builder will construct about 197 homes in three phases. The first two phases, The Villages and Cambridge Place, will break ground in June, with the third phase — The Estates of Cambridge — beginning at a yet-to-be determined future date.
Rendition Homes will build The Villages at Cambridge, which total 77 home lots, which will provide enough room for a minimum of 1,800-sf homes. Cambridge Place will have similar sized homes.
The project will add over $50 million of increased property values for the city, according to Sandlin.
The development is adjacent to Liberty Park and has access to sidewalk and trail connectivity to the Cotton Belt hike and bike trail system, which totals 11 miles of trails over 20 miles connecting North Richland Hills to Hurst, Colleyville, Grapevine, Haltom City and Fort Worth.
