MESQUITE - The 209,766-sf Mesquite Town Centre Plaza at 1340 Town East Blvd. has been sold by Kimco Realty, which has owned the property since 2006.

The almost 15-acre retail project is anchored by Burlington Coat Factory and Ashley Furniture and is 80 percent leased.

It attracted multiple strong bidders, which illustrates the demand for property in the Town East trade area, said Tom Salanty, an executive director with Cushman & Wakefield.

Houston-based QEH Mesquite LLC beat out a bidding war to purchase the retail hub.
