Tiger Woods to design golf course in Montgomery

MONTGOMERY – Tiger Woods and his company, Tiger Woods Design, will design the 18-hole golf course at Bluejack National, a private club and community currently under development in Montgomery near Houston. Construction of the golf course will begin during summer 2014 with its completion slated for fall 2015.

Formerly the home of Blaketree National Golf Club, Bluejack National is set among 755 acres. Woods will also design a Short Course for short-game practice. The original golf course was popular with Houston-area players, however Bluejack National’s developers, Beacon Land Development, believe a completely new design is required.
