ROBINSON – Con-way Freight, a less-than-truckload trucking company, opened its $3.7 million Central Texas service center. The new facility boasts significantly expanded capacity with 48 freight-loading doors and an 18,870-sf dock.

The facility will serve as the local hub from which the company will provide daily freight services for commercial and industrial businesses in the greater metropolitan regions of Waco, Robinson and other Central Texas communities.

The facility also provides increased capacity, flexibility and operating efficiencies and will enable better service for the hundreds of Central Texas businesses the company serves within a 100-mile radius of the Greater Waco metropolitan area.

The new center will replace the existing 22-door service center in Waco where the company has operated for more than 25 years.
