San Angelo housing 1Q 2014: Coldwell Banker Patterson
SAN ANGELO – The number of homes sold in first quarter 2014 increased by over 9 percent from 4Q 2013, according to Coldwell Banker Patterson’s newest quarterly report.
The oil and gas industry continues to benefit job seekers and businesses in West Texas, offsetting challenges associated with the drought.
Growth is slightly slower around the Cline formation than in some of the other Texas locations; however, recent estimates of the size and production of the formation bode well for the long-term condition of the San Angelo economy.
Currently, San Angelo’s largest employers are Goodfellow Air Force Base, Shannon Health System, San Angelo ISD, Angelo State University and San Angelo State Supported Living Center.
