PLANO – Greenbrier Development has broken ground on a new Next Generation Medical Resort near Plano Pkwy. and Independence Dr. Construction on the 66,500-sf facility is expected to be completed in first quarter 2015.

The two-story resort will offer 30 service-rich apartments for those who need assistance as well as 70 private and companion recovery suites for those in need of rehabilitation and therapy services. Ninety percent of the rooms will be single-bed rooms with private bathrooms.

The soon-to-be-named community will offer a community room, four different dining venues, including a casual Wi-Fi café, a pub and two restaurant-style dining areas.

Dallas-based Greenbrier is partnering with Indiana-based Mainstreet and Adolfson & Peterson to develop the project.
