GEORGETOWN - Nearly $8 million in improvement to the Georgetown Municipal Airport are expected to begin this summer. The improvements will be completed during the next two years.
The airport’s fuel station and storage will be converted to an above-ground fuel farm.
Runway clear zones and runway lighting for visibility will be improved.
The parking area near the terminal will be rebuilt along with a taxiway for airplanes adjacent to one of the runways.
