IRVING - Crawford Electric Supply will soon be relocating to a 160,000-sf building in Irving, bringing 130 jobs and $9 million in tax revenue to the city.
Crawford will construct and occupy the building at the southwest corner of Gateway Dr. and Westridge Circle. It is expected to occupy the facility in December 2016. The company will consolidate its Dallas and Haltom City distribution operations at the new facility.
The Greater Irving-Las Colinas Chamber of Commerce approved a 15-year incentive agreement with Crawford as part of the move. According to the agreement, the City of Irving will retain $6.6 million of new tax revenue, and will generate $2.4 million in revenue sharing across ten years of the 15-year agreement.
Crawford Electric Supply opened in Dallas in 1990 and has 22 locations. Crawford is an electrical and industrial distributor with annual sales of more than $750 million.
