IRVING – Billingsley Co. will break ground on 7-Eleven’s new 300,000-sf headquarters building during summer 2014 at its 1,000-acre Cypress Waters development.

7-Eleven is moving its headquarters from downtown Dallas to the office building that Billingsley will construct just north of LBJ Fwy. The City of Irving has agreed to more than $10 million in economic incentives to lure 7-Eleven from Dallas.

7-Eleven is expected to occupy the new offices by the end of 2016.

7-Eleven’s building will be the fifth office building to break ground at the development. When the five buildings are completed, the development will have 900,000 sf of office space open and occupied.

The Cypress Waters development will have 20 office buildings totaling 4 million sf at full build out, according to Billingsley CEO Lucy Billingsley.
