Where in the world is San Diego, Tex.? At the new school!
SAN DIEGO, DUVAL COUNTY – The San Diego Independent School District will start construction of a its new 67,011-sf junior high this summer. The new Bernarda Jaime Jr. High campus is estimated to cost $11 million and is scheduled to be completed in 310 days.
The junior high will be located at the demo site of the old Collins-Parr Elementary school. The school will feature new instructional classrooms, library and science labs. It will include a full kitchen and cafeteria, an 80-student band-hall, weight room and an 800-seat gym.
The new campus will also have the latest technology, which will be outfitted by E-Rate. It will have brand new smart boards and Wi-Fi as well.
