SAN ANTONIO - In honor of May being National Moving Month, Rent.com and FlatRateMoving teamed up to create the Top 10 Cities for Renters on the Move. Four Texas cities made it into the top ten.
San Antonio came in at number 6 — behind Dallas-Fort Worth (number 5) and Austin (number 2), but ahead of El Paso, which took the number nine spot. Houston did not make the list.
The ranking highlighted San Antonio’s renowned River Walk and cultural venues like Artpace San Antonio.
Additionally, its population has grown by 4.2 percent since 2010 and has a vacancy rate of 9 percent — above the national vacancy rate of 8.2 percent.
