FORT WORTH – A new 48-bed treatment center offering acute psychiatric care for adult and geriatric patients has opened at 6200 Overton Ridge Blvd.

Oceans Behavioral Hospital Fort Worth will continue staffing the 34,000-sf facility, hiring up to 100 workers. The facility will be licensed as an acute care hospital by the Texas Department of State Health Services.

The hospital offers individualized care to adults over 55 suffering from mood and behavior disturbances or progressive, degenerative illnesses that are not provided in a typical adult psychiatric care setting or general acute care hospital.
