Aviator at Brooks City Base to take flight

SAN ANTONIO – Brooks City Base will be collaborating with The PPA Group and locally based 210 Developers on a new multifamily project. Known as the Aviator at Brooks City Base, the project calls for the adaptive reuse of four structures that once served as living quarters for Air Force officers. Three new buildings will be constructed as well.

At buildout, Aviator will have 280 units ranging from 780 to 1,000 sf. Rents will range from $875 to $1,500 a month.

Construction on the complex is slated to begin in July. The project is scheduled to make its debut at the end of summer 2015.

The Aviator project is representative of a long-term play to turn Brooks into a thriving mix of residential, retail and commercial development.
