Bahia Marina in Ingleside docks a new owner

INGLESIDE, SAN PATRICIO COUNTY – The more than 50-slip Bahia Marina that was a focal point of the 1960 Ingleside on the Bay development, has been sold. After 25 years in Virgina, Wes Williams and his family returned to Texas to buy Ingleside’s Bahia Marina.

The marina located at 84 Bayshore Dr. has a boat ramp, parking area, dock store and 47 wet slips for boats as long as 40 feet and as wide as 15 feet. It also has bulkhead space for as many as ten more vessels, depending on size.

Hurricane Celia wrecked the marina in 1970 and it was in disrepair when the previous owners bought it in 1979.
