Dallas law firm settles for 117,000 SF in Chase Tower
DALLAS – Norton Rose Fulbright (NRF) has signed a lease for 117,000 sf within the skyscraper at 2,200 Ross Ave., moving the firm from floors 25 through 29 to the upper floors of the tower.
The new lease, which starts on January 1, 2015, is for a partial floor on 30, as well as full floors for 32, 34, 35 and 36 in the office tower. NRF also has first right of refusal on floors 33 and 37 within the tower. The firm currently occupies floors 25 through 29 in the tower.
The law firm, which has been located in Chase Tower for the past quarter century, is downsizing its real estate by more than 20,000 sf to become more efficient and position the firm for growth, said Richard Krumholz, managing partner of the Dallas NRF office.
NRF also expects to add 20 to 30 attorneys, as well as other new employees, to the firm’s Dallas office in the next five years, which currently has about 130 attorneys.
