$35M Uptown Dallas apartment tower rising

DALLAS – Construction has started on the Uptown Plaza tower in Dallas’ booming Uptown district. StreetLights Residential is building the 23-story Uptown Plaza tower at 2355 Thomas Ave., just south of McKinney Ave.

The 212-unit residential building will be next door to the Federal Reserve Bank of Dallas.

Apartment homes will range from 737-sf one-bedroom units to 2,238-sf penthouses. The first units at Uptown Plaza are expected to be available in spring 2016.

With the start of the Uptown Plaza building, there are now four rental residential towers under construction in the area just north of downtown Dallas, constituting 1,200 future apartments.
