Future 1.2M-SF West Ten Distribution Center coming to Katy

KATY – Transwestern Development Co. has bought a 74-acre site in West Ten Business Park on I-10 at Cane Island Pkwy. The first phase of the 1.2 million-sf West Ten Distribution Center will consist of two spec industrial buildings totaling 415,296 sf.

The first phase will include two spec buildings: The first one is a cross-dock building with a 300-foot ceiling totaling 340,504 sf. The second building totals 74,793 sf with 28-foot ceilings and a front-loading dock.

The two buildings are expected to be done by second quarter 2015, leaving 42 acres for further development. The remaining parcel can fit about 800,000 sf of build-to-suit developments.

Transwestern Development Co. bought the land from Houston-based Parkside Capital.
