MANSFIELD - Rochester Springs, a 73,073-sf, two-story assisted-living facility, will begin construction in June 2014 at 354 Matlock Rd. The development will be on a 3.1-acre tract across from the 168-bed Mansfield Methodist Medical Center.

The project includes 51 assisted-living units and 44 memory care units, with construction costs totaling approximately $11.5 million. The community will feature two interior courtyards, two dining venues and a salon, among other amenities.

The ground floor will house two neighborhoods of memory care residences and common areas, while the second floor will feature assisted-living residences with “European-inspired” kitchenettes and common areas.
