Cypress Towne Lake Boardwalk rows to 124,000-sf Marketplace

CYPRESS – Kroger will open a 124,000-sf Marketplace store in a lakefront, mixed-use development in Towne Lake, allowing shoppers to travel by boat to get their groceries.

The store, located at 9703 Barker Cypress Rd., will also offer adult and children’s apparel, home furnishings, small appliances, jewelry, a pharmacy and a gas station. The store will open on August 1.

Caldwell Cos. is developing the 250,000-sf, mixed-use project known as Towne Lake Boardwalk, at Barker Cypress and Tuckerton Rd., which includes the new Kroger Marketplace. The development will also include a marina and space for retail and restaurants.
