EL PASO – The City Development Department is moving to its new location in the newly renovated 70,000-sf historic building at 801 Texas. The building was a former garment factory and former furniture and decorative art gallery.

City Development, which includes the building and development permitting division, planning division, and its one-stop shop, will be operational at its new location on June 17.

The 801 Texas location is about a block from the new City Hall at Campbell and Mills. It’s part of the City office relocations begun after the old City Hall was demolished last year for the new Downtown baseball stadium.

The city Economic and International Development Department is also being relocated to the Texas Ave. location.
