LONGVIEW – Tractor Supply Co. has purchased the 47,150-sf building at 2707 LEDCO Dr. for $1.1 million. The Longview Economic Development Corporation sold the building to the Tennessee-based company.

The property, which is part of the Longview Business Park, will be used as a distribution center for the company serving Texas, Arkansas and Louisiana, and Tractor Supply is planning to spend about $3 million to expand the building and add another $2 million in equipment.

The Longview City Council granted a five-year, 50 percent tax abatement to Tractor Supply, stipulating that the company invest at least $5 million and hire ten employees.

Tractor Supply is a Fortune 500 company with more than 1,300 stores across the country.
