HOUSTON - Construction permitting set another record in May. Permits for office buildings increased from $14.8 million in May 2013 to $265.1 million in May 2014.

Permits for parking garage buildings increased from $9.6 million in May 2013 to $105.1 million in May 2014.

Multifamily permits nearly tripled from $84.3 million in May 2013 to $222.1 million in May 2014.
