HOUSTON - The ten-story 1800 Bering office building has been purchased in the Galleria area. The 171,510-sf property was built in 1982. The building's two biggest tenants are Alamo Title with 17,610 sf and Link Staffing Services with 13,875 sf.
KBS Realty Advisors purchased the building from Fuller Realty Partners. The company aims to move the so-called Class B-plus building up a notch by making cosmetic improvements — such as the HVAC and elevator systems.
Fuller Realty Partners bought the building in a joint venture with Harbert Management Corp. in 2011. Since then, occupancy went from 80 percent to its current level of 95 percent.
