Walmart brings 150,000-SF store to San Antonio’s West Side

SAN ANTONIO – Walmart Stores Inc. has celebrated the groundbreaking of its new store on the city’s West Side. Plans call for a 150,000-sf Supercenter to be located at 918 Bandera Rd., in the Woodlawn Lake community.

The Supercenter will bring a new fresh-food option and a full-service pharmacy to area shoppers. Just as important, however, is the fact that the store will create 300 jobs in the community.
