KINGSVILLE, KLEBERG COUNTY - The first phase of the 504-bed Legends Kingsville is underway near Texas A&M University-Kingsville. The off-campus project is estimated to cost $22 million.
Spaces will include one-, two- and four-bedroom options. Residents will be able to sign leases for their beds rather than the full apartment, so they are not responsible for the entire space.
“Kingsville has such a rich significance in Texas history with the King Ranch and Naval Air Station Kingsville,” says Eric Jakimier, owner of Domus Development.
The 23-acre site is located at 1400 West Santa Gertrudis. Domus Development said the leasing office will be open November 2014, and that college students will be able to move in beginning August 2015.
