DFW Airport launches to Qatar’s capital
DALLAS-FORT WORTH – DFW Airport is now offering a flight to Doha, Qatar, through the Middle Eastern air traveler, Qatar Airways.
The carrier will offer a daily round trip with the aid of a Boeing 777-200 containing 42 seats in business class and 217 in coach.
Qatar joins Emirates Airline, which has offered the first Middle East flights with daily service to Dubai since February 2012. On December 3, Etihad Airways will join its two regional competitors when it launches service from DFW to Abu Dhabi.
DFW Airport is Qatar Airways’ seventh U.S. destination and second in Texas. It has served Houston since 2009.
Qatar is a member of the Oneworld global airline alliance headed by American Airlines Inc. and British Airways Plc.
