EAGLE PASS, MAVERICK COUNTY – Maverick, a firearms company specializing in shotguns, will leverage public funds to create 50 new jobs and $3.4 million in capital investment into its Eagle Pass factory.
Maverick is a subsidiary of Mossberg Corp., which is the largest pump-action shotgun producer in the world and is the oldest family-owned firearm maker in America.
The Eagle Pass facility already assembles and distributes firearms for the Mossberg, Maverick and Mossberg International brands. Once the company expands its factory, Maverick will consolidate barrel production in Eagle Pass.
