DALLAS - Active Network, a San Diego-based high tech firm, will move 1,000 jobs to downtown Dallas in a relocation of its corporate headquarters.

The move will begin immediately and continue through 2015.

The company is owned by Vista Equity Partners of San Francisco which has been working with Austin-based World Class Capital Group to house some of its California companies in the KPMG Centre tower at 717 N. Harwood.

Active Network is a provider of activity and participant management with 47,000 customers worldwide. Active currently has an office located in Irving.
