COLLEYVILLE – Whole Foods opened its first store in Tarrant County with a 44,000-sf Colleyville store formerly occupied by Albertsons.

It is located at 4801 Colleyville Blvd. at the intersection of Glade Rd. and Hwy. 26.

The grocery store has a beer and wine bar with a separate entrance, pinball machines, three TVs, booths and food service.

In addition, Whole Foods has applied for the Verace Pizza Napoletana certification for its pizzas. The pizza, which is awaiting Italian government certification, will be baked in a 900 degree wood-burning oven.
