Huntsville: 532-bed Brook Place sold near SHSU

HUNTSVILLE – The 532-bed Brook Place apartments at 5020 Sam Houston Ave. has been sold. The community, which is located near Sam Houston State University, was built in 2004 and is 95 percent leased for the upcoming acadmic year.

The complex offers three- and four-bedroom units ranging from 1,105 sf to 1,515 sf.

Dallas-based Rockstreet Partners and Houston-based ApexOne Investment Partners acquired the student housing community, marking their second Texas student housing acquisition in recent months.

Earlier this year, Rockstreet and ApexOne bought the 400-bed College Edge, which is near both Blinn College and Texas A&M University in Bryan.
