Odessa: builders begin Desert Ridge subdivision

ODESSA – Work has begun on the Desert Ridge subdivision, which will add dozens of single-family homes and townhomes in the next year amid an intense demand for housing.

This year, builders plan to begin construction on about 30 homes northwest of Grandview Ave. and Independence Dr.

Prices are in the $195,000 to $270,000 range with 2,600 sf to 3,600 sf.

The looming construction will be part of the first phase of the subdivision that calls for 60 single-family home lots. Later phases call for another 250 single-family home lots in the coming years.
