HOUSTON - Houston's largest energy employer, National Oilwell Varco Inc. (NOV), has preleased the entire new Millennium II Tower in the Westchase area. The 22-story, 417,000-sf tower is expected to be completed sometime in 2015.
The new tower will have a 1,780-car parking garage at Richmond Ave. on three acres adjacent to the existing Millennium Tower.
"NOV has grown and become too spread out throughout the Houston area," said Chairman, President and CEO Clay Williams.
NOV will still keep its global headquarters at its campus by Beechnut St. and Sam Houston Pkwy., even after the Millennium Tower II is completed.
"This is really for engineering, for sales, finance, personnel. It's really just office space," Williams said. "We're bringing in employees that are presently housed at about ten different facilities."
