IRVING – Construction has kicked off on 7-Eleven Inc.’s 325,000-sf headquarters campus on I-635 at Belt Line Rd. The four-story office campus Billingsley Co. is building will have two connected buildings plus a parking garage on the north side of I-635.

The same development for the retailer’s new headquarters will house Nationstar Mortgage and Cheddar’s Fast Casual Café headquarters.

Other companies moving into the area include Envoy Air Inc., which is moving its operations from Fort Worth to two buildings on Regent Blvd., just south of I-635.

According to estimates by Cushman & Wakefield, Irving currently has 725,000 sf of office space under construction and 18 percent of the city’s office space is empty.

The project that will house 7-Eleven will be ready in fall 2015.
